Video displays upside down

It would be really helpful if you’d provide the following information so our engineer colleagues can identify and solve your problem sooner.

Email used for Alfred login:
Which device has the problem? Viewer or Camera
Device Model Name: camera, Samsung Galaxy Note 4
OS Version: Android 4.4
AppVersion: next to latest

Captured video plays upside down on my Nexus 6p with latest OS and app.

Even after I turn the Note 4 camera phone upside down, the ceiling of the room still appears at the bottom.

To view it upright I have to turn the 6p upside down.

Hi @geraldgrow,

Thank you so much for reaching out to Alfred!

There are two things you can try:

  1. Start a new live-viewing session. This should change the orientation.

  2. During the live-viewing session, you can find an icon below the image feed that looks like two rectangles. You can adjust the orientation with that, too.

Let me know if it helps!

I have the same problem but I do not have any rectangles in bottom right corner. How can I adjust it?

Hi Kaz,

When you enter Camera’s live feed, you will find a triangle on the bottom right. Click it and you’ll see a hidden menu where you can find the rectangles to adjust the orientation.

Please give it a try and let us know if you have further quesiton.

Thanks! Found it by accident
