When Alfred experiences login issues, you might see Status Code 3004. Here are some things you can check to address the problem.
1. Make Sure You Are Using a @gmail.com Account
Alfred adopts Google login. G Suite as well as @googlemail.com are considered as separate domains by Google. Please log in with an address that ends with @gmail.com.
2. Make Sure You Have the Latest Version of Google Play services Installed
Many of Alfred’s features rely on Google Play Services to work properly. Please make sure your devices are running the latest version of Google Play Services to eliminate login problems. If they already are but the problem remains, tap on “Doesn’t work? Try this.” below the login button.
3. Make Sure Alfred Is Updated
You might not be able to log in on a dated version of Alfred. Please make sure you are running the latest version.
4. Turn WiFi off and on
Sometimes, switching WiFi off and back on again fixes login issues, particularly when the device is older.
5. Did You Change Your Password Recently?
If you changed your password recently, please log in again. If you still experience issues, please clear cache and try again (if you are not sure how to clear cache, please check here).
6. Make Sure All Permissions Have Been Granted
Depending on the platform you are using, you may be prompted to grant additional permissions when you sign in. Alfred only requests permissions which are essential to the service. Please make sure they are all granted when asked.
7. Check Your Time and Date Settings
This is more commonly-seen on Camera devices running older versions of Android. Time might stop on such a device once it gets disconnected. Please adjust the settings as well as making sure the device has a stable Internet connection to prevent this problem.
