Privacy Question

#1

Are Alfred Staff or Engineer’s able to see our cameras and clips? What kind of access do you have to our cameras and email accounts? Just curious… :no_mouth:

It would be really helpful if you’d provide the following information so our engineer colleagues can identify and solve your problem sooner.

Which device has the problem? Viewer or Camera

Hi @kmfechner and @chandlr04,

Thank you for reaching out!

You log in to Alfred with your Google account and password. This means unless someone has your password, nobody has access to your live feed or video clips. The same applies to the Alfred team.

All we get is statistics and logs that tell us things such as whether you are properly logged in on the devices, how good your WiFi signal/power supply are, whether the device is generating Motion Detection notifications properly and so on. In other words, we have NO idea what you are monitoring and we never will.

I hope this helps! If you need further info, please read about the measures we take to protect your privacy here:

Hope this helps!

Persons with physical access to the storage medium can access video footage. And probably Google most of the American security agencies of which there are many, the Russians all of them if you believe the media hysteria and Julian Assange even from his prison where he definitely should NOT be.
Regards.
