Notifications keep turning back on!

I use Alfred as a viewer on a OnePlus 5 running Resurrection Remix on android 7.1. The camera is a Moto G2 running latest stock ROM. It is rarely left on charge but that’s not an issue as my colleague has that one and keeps it charged. What is an issue is that when I don’t need to view it, I disable it (great addition some time back). I also leave all notifications switched off. However, regularly once or twice a week, they turn themselves back on! I have not worked out when yet, maybe after a restart, I don’t know, but it’s annoying as I don’t want to be notified of low battery or anything else.

Any idea why it keeps turning them back on and how to stop it?

Thanks. Brilliant app for what we need

Hi @els.huybregts,

Thank you so much for joining us at Alfred Center!

This is odd, because even after the Camera Phone reboots, the settings shouldn’t change. Do you think you’d be able to keep track of when the notifications turn themselves back on? That way, I can take a look at the connection logs at the specific time to figure out why this keeps happening.

If your Camera Phone is never plugged in but that’s not an issue, you can turn off battery notifications altogether:

For Motion Event notifications, you can switch them off on your Viewer Phone:

The screenshots here haven’t been updated, but the idea is going to the main menu of your Viewer device and disable them there.

Please let me know if this helps!
