Leaving phone plugged for weeks?

Hi All, I just started using alfred today, I have a gakaxy note 3 as the main camera and I was wondering if anyone has tried leaving their main camera phone plugged in and running for a couplfe of weeks without having any serious issues? Feel free to drop some advice/tips. Thanks

@jeffalvero I have had mine plugged in for months with no ill effects. But it is outside so if it lets loose then no worries.

Mine have been plugged in too for months now. 2 are inside which I do worry about sometimes because one battery did bulge and die.

I check them regularly. It is was it is.

Thank you for reaching out to Alfred!

When a device is running nonstop, it is normal for it to produce some heat. To keep this to a minimum, we suggest you…

  1. Use charging accessories from the original manufacturers.
  2. Use a charger with timer.
  3. Unplug the device for a couple of hours a day if you can.
  4. When you don’t need Motion Detection, disable the Camera device from your Viewer device with Alfred’s Remote Switch:

Hope these help!
